Dr. Zandy Omer Muhammad is a Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng MIStructE) currently working as a Senior Lecture at BIU. He holds a PhD in Structural Engineering (Dynamics) from The University of Exeter, an MSc with Distinction from The University of Sheffield, and a BSc in Building and Construction Engineering from the University of Sulaimani. With over 17 years of international experience, his work focuses on structural engineering, temporary works design, structural demolition, vibration serviceability, seismic analysis, structural advisory roles, and sustainable engineering solutions. Dr. Zandy has authored several peer-reviewed publications in the field of structural engineering and vibration serviceability. His academic and professional interests include advanced structural analysis, dynamic performance of structures, and innovative structural solutions.
